About Me
My name is Fernando Salvador Gallegos, I was born and raised in San Jose, California. I was born in April of 1985 and was raised within a pretty normal family. However, several experiences from an early age led me into the field of paranormal and mystical study. The earliest of experiences took place around the age of three when I began to see unusual things that eventually led to several unwanted experiences. It was because of these experiences that I began opening up to everything from lost civilizations to mysticism.
After many years the experiences became more and more frequent and at times too overwhelming. I accepted these things as completely normal; however, it was not until sharing my experiences with other children that I later realized that what had happened was not normal. Slowly, I became ostracized from my peers (unwillingly) and even went through severe periods of being completely isolated. This was the beginning of what I now realize was severe depression. I slowly began investigating into various mystical groups and teachings in order to learn more. It was during this time that I started coming to terms with my own family. I began to understand my mother’s own unorthodox techniques for helping and curing that was based on a foundation of Curanderismo. And my father, as it would turn out, was also involved in Rosicrucianism among other things. It wasn't until, however, many years later that I found out other family members on my mother’s side were involved in a long history of Freemasonic and Rosicrucian traditions.
These strange experiences became more frequent during my early pre-teens. Around the age of 11 I independently discovered a Rosicrucian society based in the city where I lived, and afterwards, discovered my father was once a member. And so at the age of 12, I tried joining the order. My father tried everything in his power to help be a member, but because of my young age I was denied full membership. Afterwards, I began to read everything I could get my hands on regarding other groups, socities, and other mystical teachings to help develop my own awareness. During the following years my depression finally began to get the best of me, and to make matters worse my perception intensified to a great extent. Because I viewed everything with a negative frame of mind, I began having intense psychic experiences and saw only the negative side. At this point in my life I was bombarded with overwhelming experiences to the point where I was unable to handle them and so I completely had to shut myself off.
It would not be until a few years later when I was 17 years of age that I began studying deeply again and practicing what I had lost prior. It took many years but I completely got rid of any signs of depression and began my inward journey where I had once left off. Having always been fuelded by my passion in music, after high school I began playing in more bands and shows. In 2006, I became involved in Martinism and a few years later Freemasonry. During this time while studying as an undergraduate, I began travelling and collecting information on indigenous traditions and practices. And in 2008, I travelled extensively in Peru during which I became initiated and had the opportunity to learn from an indigenous community of Curanderos. The following year, in 2009, I received my B.A. in Anthropology and Behavioral Science from San José State University. And lastly in 2010 I was intiated into the Scottish Rite and became a 32° Degree Freemason.
